  2017年10月，党的十九大报告指出，要以“一带一路”建设为重点，形成陆海内外联动、东西双向互济的开放格局。

  In October 2017. the report delivered at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that we should pursue the Belt and Road Initiative as a priority to make new ground in opening China further through links running eastward and westward, across land and over sea.

  2019年5月，习近平主席在亚洲文明对话大会上发表主旨演讲，指出当今世界多极化、经济全球化、社会信息化、文化多样化深入发展，强调加强世界上不同国家、不同民族、不同文化的交流互鉴，夯实共建亚洲命运共同体、人类命运共同体的人文基础。

  In May 2019. Chinese President Xi Jinping gave a keynote speech at the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations, during which he mentioned that the world today is moving toward greater multi-polarity, economic globalization and cultural diversity, and is becoming increasingly information-oriented and emphasized that we need to promote exchanges and mutual learning among countries, nations and cultures around the world, and strengthen popular support for jointly building a community with a shared future for both Asia and humanity as a whole.

  2021年2月，《重庆市国民经济和社会发展第十四个五年规划和二〇三五年远景目标纲要》明确指出，要建设西部国际传播中心，实施城市营销行动，增强国际传播能力。

  In February 2021. the Outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035 of Chongqing Municipality made it clear that Chongqing will build an international communication center in western China, implement urban promotion actions, and enhance international communication capabilities.

  2021年5月31日，习近平总书记发表重要讲话，要求加强国际传播能力建设，构建中国话语和叙事体系，讲好中国故事，传播好中国声音。

  On May 31. 2021. Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered an important speech, calling for improving China's international communication capacity, constructing China's own discourse and narrative, and better telling China's stories and the spiritual strength behind the stories.

  重庆陆海国际传播公益基金会旨在利用重庆作为国家中心城市和陆海新通道运营组织中心优势，推动多元主体促进陆海内外联动和文明交流互鉴、文化传播互动，助力重庆成为区域性国际传播中心，助力企业、媒体、公益组织等在达成各自社会使命过程中得到更好的地域文化和国际传播支持，助力重庆发挥好“三个作用”和成渝地区双城经济圈建设，助力中华文化走出去。

  Chongqing Luhai International Communication Foundation aims to take advantage of Chongqing's status as a national central city and the operations center of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor to promote links across land and over sea, cultural exchanges and mutual learning, and cultural communication and interaction among diversified subjects, help Chongqing become a regional international communication center, help enterprises, media, public welfare organizations, and others get better regional cultural and international communication support in the process of accomplishing their respective social missions, help Chongqing bring its "three roles" into full play and pursue progress in the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, and help Chinese culture go global.
